Aft,er a long time to decide what to do with our favorite Summer/Winter any time getaway from the Bay Area in the wake of our relocating to out of state we elected to place our property for sale. Of course the first bridge was to find a realtor. I first got in contact with Nanda when I sent a message through Yelp to various real estate agents regarding a property I was interested in, in 2018. Hers was the most detailed and helpful response, by a long shot. That first property wasn't for us (too much work needed to go into it), but Nanda continued to send listings that we might like for the next several months. She also looked into any other properties we liked, consistently going above and beyond to answer any questions we had about specific listings as well as the SLT real estate market in general. When we put our first offer down on a cabin + adjacent lot, but then got turned off by the fact that the seller wouldn't let us bring in a structural engineer to check out some unpermitted construction that had been done, Nanda was totally supportive of our decision to walk away. At no point did we feel pressure from her to close on that particular property. Instead, she reassured us that we had a right to feel nervous about the lack of transparency on the part of the seller, and that we should absolutely walk away if we were uncomfortable. And thanks to her patience and support, we found the perfect home in South Lake Tahoe! Nanda was great with all the paperwork, communicating with the seller's realtors, taking measurements for us, coordinating with the various inspectors, and everything else we needed during escrow. This is a review that covers my experience with Nanda from a buyer perspective as well as from the seller perspective. We've purchased our Tahoe vacation home through Nanda's help back in 2016. The purchase transaction from the viewing/showing of the home to closing of escrow was a breeze. Nanda is very communicative and knowledgeable and took care of all the questions I have as well as seller side might. Although we love our Tahoe home immensely, we decided to sell our Tahoe home in late 2019. Given the great experience we had with Nanda, it's natural we go back to her to help with sales of our home.
